Recommendations To Guardians

1. Every month we keep "PARENT-TEACHER MEETING". Parents and guardians should come and meet the teachers regarding studies and problems of their wards.

2. Entry-of those who come to reach the children and receive the children is not permissible in the campus. Children are to be left at the main gate and received from the main gate at the beginning and end of the working hours.

3. During school hours parents are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers or visit the classrooms or walk about in the school premises. They need permissions from the principal to do so.

4. Pupils arriving late to school will most definitely be sent back Parents/Guardians are requested to make sure that their children arrive in school on time.

5. Parents/Guardians are cautioned to collect their children soon after school hours as the institution will not be held responsible for any mishap.

6. We earnestly request the parents to look into this diary everyday and see to it that the lessons and homework assigned for the next day is complete. The child should be encouraged to cultivate habitual cleanliness in all his/her work. Teachers will communicate with you through this diary. Your attention to any remark is very essential.

7. Absence of your child from class for attending social functions is discouraged because it retards the child's progress and minimizes his respect for regular homework. It is essential that the school be informed when the child is not attending school. Your child's name will be struck off from the attendance register if he/she remains absent for three consecutive days especially after summer and winter vacations.

8. If a child is unwell, he/she should stay at home. Parents should send their wards ONLY if they can stay in school for the full day. Requests to go home due to sickness during the school hours will not always be entertained. Parents should inform the school, their child's past illness (defect) if any.

9. Keep your child at home if he/she is suffering from any contagious disease like Mumps, Measles, Chicken Pox, Whooping Cough, Conjunctivitis (sore eyes) etc. and send him/her to School only with a doctor's fitness certificate.

10. Parents are also requested to note that a letter of authority should always be sent through person(s) other than parents who are designated to collect their wards in cases of emergency. The school will not be responsible for any mishaps if you fail to do the above.

11. Children should do their homework themselves. They should not be helped in it by parents or by tutors unless they really need it. It is important that the children develop a habit of studying and working on their own.

12. Should your child need tution from any staff member, prior permission of the Principal is very necessary. Anyone found breaking this rule will be asked to leave the school.

13. Criticism of a teacher should be avoided in the presence of the child because it undermines his/her respect for the teacher and the school. Should you have a legitimate complaint, meet the Principal.

14. As your child advances in age, guide him/her to become a resourceful and useful member of the home, society and the country. Encourage self help for work and study. They should be taught to keep their rooms tidy, make their own beds, polish their own shoes, carry their own bags etc. The formation of such habits in life inculcates in them the idea of dignity of work and a fundamental personal virtue necessary for a successful career in life.

15. You are requested to pay special attention to the personal cleanliness of your child. Kindly see that the child attends the school in proper prescribed uniform. As the medium of instruction in this school is English, children should be helped to follow their classes easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular English conversation at home.

16. For extra curricular activities in the evening like games, sports etc. students will be allowed to participate on condition that the parents take the responsibility of both bringing and collecting them (Especially girl students)

17. Parents are advised to pay special attention to menu of food packed in the Tiffin Boxes (esp. in rainy season). They must avoid giving junk food like Maggie Noodles, Macaroni etc. (Sweets that attracts flies). Please see that the food you are offering your child should be fresh and at the same time nutritious.

18. The principal has authority to inflict any punishment as he may deem necessary to maintain the discipline of the Institution.

19. Pupils not returning punctually to School after the holidays are liable to have their names struck off the roll. If this happens, they will have to be readmitted with due charges.

20. No leave for absence is granted without a written application from the Parents/Guardians and that too only for genuine reasons. If a child is absent due to sickness, the Principal must be informed at once in writing.

21. Strict action will be taken against children who regularly come late to School. The habit of getting up early in the morning in order to reach School in time should be inculcated in the child. To avoid inconvenience, please see that your child arrives in School on time and is also picked up punctually after the School hours.

22. Kindly note for all Scooty/Motor that it is compulsory bike riders to wear HELMET.
